Driving 7 hours home for the holidays and back gives you a good craving for something like a Red Bull. It’s a great driving assistant. It keeps you awake and it’s not so much drink that it causes you to take a bathroom break every hour. However, there is a serious problem as pointed out in that image. I was going to blame the rest stops for this because usually the gas stations are at least a little cheaper, but right next to this they were selling the 16oz Monsters for $2.50 which is right on the target (if not cheap) now days. Whats up with that? Who in their right mind pays $3.99 for 8oz of low-potent energy drink?

Our door buzzer hasn’t worked for over a month now, I never really cared unless I missed packages, but I’m glad that someone actually came to fix it. They were here most all day actually, installed new buzzers in all the rooms I think along with the main door one. Wow, that was nice of them. Only one thing…

If you don’t know (or don’t have Rock Band 2), there were 20 free download tracks released today. If you bought the game it came with a code on the back of the manual to put into a website that then gave you another code to download the tracks. I got my code yesterday and promptly downloaded the tracks.

The dude next to meet thought it was sweet enough to take a picture as well. Totally stoked for some Fallout 3!

I walked in Best Buy the other day hoping to just pick up Lego Batman when I noticed that they had some sweet prices on tv’s, some sort of all television’s were on sale type thing. I knew I shouldn’t have, but I started looking around to check out these deals. I had a tv in mind that I wanted to find, but I soon knew that I would be leaving the store with much less money than intended.

Been messing around with flash all day today doing stuff and wanted to post up what I created. For the first time in my on and off flash usage I actually understand everything I did. I don’t know why, but flash has just been one of those things that never quite worked out for me. But today, I had that click in my mind and here’s what I came up with…

So apparently it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything here. I don’t know what exactly happened, but last week I did a lot of things, but didn’t do a lot. It was one of those weeks. So, lets see what I’ve been up to…

I was going to post this last night, but caught up in having fun! So how was your Labor Day? What’d you do? I spent mine playing Castle Crashers with the girlfriend, finished my fourth run through it! Still amazing I say. Also ate some hot dogs, it felt like the right thing to do. Unfortunately I couldn’t grill them in my little Chicago apartment, but they were still delicious. Spent some time watching the Venture Brothers and still job hunting.

I posted up a list of apps that I had recently downloaded the other day and I want to talk about Shazam right now. I just looked it up a little before posting here and apparently it’s a service that has been available pre-iPhone. But, I didn’t know about it then, so I’m here to judge it’s iPhone based app.

Well, moving is all complete and the internet has been set up today. Done with AT&T and trying out RCN now. Speeds are much better for the same price, hopefully customer service is to. Moving was exhausting as was unpacking (as was expected). But it’s pretty much all done with now and while I didn’t have internet for several days I spent a lot of time using my iPhone and browsing the App Store for new things to play with. I’d like to write about a lot more of them in depth, but I’ll touch on what I’ve found right now.
