Hey all, I guess I’ve been busy lately (?) because I haven’t posted anything in a long time! Election day is here and in Chicago it’s going to be pretty crazy. I’m not big into politics, but it will be interesting for sure. But, more importantly, games and coding.
Been swapping out games a lot lately, working on run 2 through Dead Space on and off when I feel like it, that game really loses all of it’s scare factor the second time through as I seem to have distinct memory of where everything that pops out at me is. But it’s still a rock solid game. Started Fallout 3, indifferent about it so far. Been playing Infinite Undiscovery quite a bit, funny when that urge for a generic JRPG hits. Contemplating Gears of War 2 pick up this week partially because Mirror’s Edge demo was awesome!
Now, onto AI. I posted up an AI program a few weeks ago which showed some “dudes” running around collecting blocks. Well, it’s changed quite a bit now. It’s now some “dudes” collecting stars in space and gives you full control of their stats. So you can choose how fast each team is, how strong they are, how smart they are and how aggressive they are. Then you can watch them duke it out to collect the most stars.
It’s pretty neat I think, though it’s not perfect. I encourage you to check it out and send some feedback. If anyone has any questions as to how it works and what exactly the stats do feel free to send those questions over as well. There is one fairly big issue with it though, after running it a few times you may have to just refresh the page and start again because somewhere I’m not disposing of listeners or objects correctly and the frame rate drops real bad. But, I have no idea where at the moment.

Enjoy, feedback is much appreciated.
