Back in Ohio with the parents for the next week and a few days, been just hanging out working through the parts of Oblivion that I didn’t finish before because I got burnt out on the game. It’s a huge game (as we probably all know) and for someone like me who likes to be able to see the end of a game when I start, it was a bit to much to handle after about 50 hours of work. But, I’m back with all but the fighters guild and main story finished up (as far as the main points of the game go).
I don’t get around to watching many movies, it used to be my thing, but it’s really not anymore. I can appreciate a good flick when I see one though. The other night I saw 28 Days Later for the first time. Definitely way better than I ever anticipated it being. I always kind of put it off, even though I was told good things, because it’s a new age horror movie. Most new age horror movies are crap and so the good ones still fall in this category.
I’ve heard several people argue that this is a zombie movie and several argue that it’s not. Just to put in my two cents, I say not a zombie movie. As far as I know zombies are required to be dead and feast on brains. The dudes seemed to just transform into this crazed thing (they probably had a name, I don’t know) when the virus got in them. They never died that I noticed and I never saw them go for brains. They would just find their victims and throw up blood all over them to transform them.
There’s my quick synopsis, I don’t care to go into detail and I’d have to see the movie more to really put up an argument. But it was a good flick. Check it out (if you haven’t, I’m aware it’s old). Anyone know if 28 Weeks Later was any good?
